Synopsis:

Carrie White, a shy high school student shunned by her peers and sheltered to an extreme degree by her very religious mother, discovers that she has telekinetic powers after being terrified by her first period during gym class. Though Carrie's trauma inspires some students to finally treat her with kindness, it leads others to humiliate her with a cruel prank - and unleash a force beyond anything they could have imagined.
